It Looks Like Pearl Jam Is Teasing New Music After Posting 2 Cryptic Photos

It looks like a new Pearl Jam era is upon us.

The Seattle legends sent fans into an absolute frenzy on Friday (January 10) when two photos were uploaded to the band's social media sites.

First up, a red electrocardiogram on a blue background with the band's name in the middle. Then a photo of what appears to be flames and a broken heart was uploaded next.

There was no caption attached to either photo leading fans to speculate among themselves in the comments section. “is this a sign this better be a sign pls be a sign of something,” one fan wrote. “new music to bring my heart back to life?” While one fan pretty much summed it up for everyone: “This means so much, yet nothing at the same time.”

Check out the posts below.

If Pearl Jam is gearing up to release a new album (fingers crossed), it'll be the first since 2013's Lightning Bolt and will come at a great time since 2020 is the band's 30th anniversary.

Pearl Jam has been teasing new music for almost a year. Back in April 2019, guitarist Mike McCready gave an update on the new album's status. “Hopefully we’re going to get that thing done soon. It’s been a bit, it’s been a little while,” he said at the time. “It’s the longest I think we’ve had between records. We’ve got a bunch of songs ready to go.”

Pearl Jam’s last single, “Can’t Deny Me,” was released in March 2018 and we are desperate for new music.
