The Revivalists Praise Billie Eilish And Call Her An 'Undeniable Talent'

It's safe to say that just about everyone is a massive fan of Billie Eilish. From Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong to Walk The Moon, the alt rock scene has nothing but praise for the 18-year-old.

Now, we can add The Revivalists to that list. On Tuesday (February 11), David Shaw and Rob Ingraham headed over to Reddit for an AMA (ask me anything) and answered a ton of burning fan questions.

One fan asked the guys, “What new music from other artists have you been listening to?” and they wasted no time applauding the “all the good girls go to hell” singer.

“It's undeniable! Billie Eilish. Timeless voice. Needs no production. Give her a guitar and her voice, and ya know. It's undeniable,” Ingraham wrote. “She's an undeniable talent. An undeniable way of reaching the youth of today, as well. She's singing their song, ya know?” Shaw chimed in to agree saying, “the talent there is unbelievable.”

The guys revealed they are also massive Lizzo fans and gave accolades to The Band Camino, Beck, Sharon Van Etten and more. See what else they had to say here.

At the end of last month, The Revivalists surprise-dropped a brand-new EP, Made In Muscle Shoals, along with a new song, “Bitter End.” The seven-song EP features new recordings of other songs of theirs including “Wish I Knew You,” “Oh No,” “You And I,” “Change,” and “All My Friends.” They also cover the Bee Gees’ “To Love Somebody.”

“I think for the Muscle Shoals EP, most of it was trying to make alternative versions of song off Take Good Care, just because it's the newest stuff and we wanted a new take on the freshest stuff,” Ingraham wrote during the AMA. “We wanted to do it like they do it in Muscle Shoals — it was less of a 'I have a vision for this song to be something specific' and more like, 'This is stuff that's been in our head and we've been workshopping.'”
