The Struts Cover The Spice Girls’ ‘Stop’ While Doing Choreography

The Struts are finding their inner girl power on the first installment of their "Sunday Service" YouTube series. The English rock band channeled another iconic band from England with a cover of the Spice Girls' track “Stop.”

Now, before you groan at the mere thought of them singing a song by a girl group, give the cover a chance because it's truly incredible. Plus, there's a bonus choreographed part and a surprise special guest (yes, it's a dog).

“Welcome to the very first episode of 'Sunday Service,'” frontman Luke Spiller told the camera and each member chimed in after. “We hope you and your families are staying safe out there during these difficult times,“ drummer Gethin Davies said.

“We wanted to pay homage to one of our musical heroes, somebody very close to our hearts and this is a little something for you guys that are at home craving that little human touch,” bassist Jed Elliott teased before the band jumped into the track.

Filmed in their respective houses, the video comes together seamlessly and I will not judge you for singing along or dancing along when guitarist Adam Slack comes in with those perfect choreographed dance moves.

Sadly, fans will have to wait just a little longer to jam with the band in person. On Wednesday (April 8), The Struts took to social media to announce they'll be postponing the MAKE IT BIG Tour due to the recent coronavirus pandemic.

“There is nothing we love more than performing live, so rest assured that we will get back on the road as soon as it is safe so that we can all be together again,” the band wrote in a statement. “Until then, we have some fun things planned while we are all under quarantine, so keep your eyes peeled.”

At least we have “Sunday Service” to hold us over!
