Halsey Transforms Into 'Chief Inspo For My Entire Life' Fiona Apple

We are just a few days away from the release of Halsey's new album, The Great Impersonator, and the countdown of impersonations has continued with Fiona Apple.

In teasing Great Impersonator track no. 13, titled "Arsonist," Halsey transforms into Fiona, rocking long red hair, and dressed in a simple black tank top. Halsey wrote along with the photo, "Chief inspo for my entire life, but the influence especially shows up in this song (and a few others on this album)."

So far in this Great Impersonator countdown, Halsey has impersonated Dolly Parton, PJ Harvey, Kate Bush, Cher, David Bowie, Evanescence's Amy Lee, The Cranberries' Dolores O'Riordan, Stevie Nicks, Bruce Springsteen, Linda Ronstadt, Britney Spears, Aaliyah, Joni Mitchell, and herself (the Bandlands era).

The Great Impersonator, which is set to be released on October 25th, is Halsey's fifth studio album following 2021's If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power, and features previously-released tracks like "Lucky," "Lonely Is The Muse" and "Ego." She has said of her new set of songs, "I made this record in the space between life and death. And it feels like I’ve waited an eternity for you to have it. I’ll wait a bit longer. I’ve waited a decade, already."
