Colorado and Radio is my life. I began at age 17 at KCDC in Longmont. I worked with KGNU for a few years as a DJ and news writer. Then I was a college DJ at KTSC in Pueblo. I had dreams of becoming a pro snowboarded that never fully materialized so I made it my mission to succeed in radio. I spent time at KBPI and The FOX from 1994 through 1998. Also in 1998 KTCL program director John Hayes would let me come in on Friday nights at midnight and play rare Beastie Boys songs. Then the planets aligned summer of 1999 when I got my dream job to work full-time at KTCL, the station I grew up on. In high school in Lafayette we had to listen on 103.1 fm Because it was in FT Collins and they had a special frequency to listen in Denver. I began as the production guy in August but filled in on weekend shifts as ROCKET. I’ve been here ever since. Thanks F and Mike for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime. Thanks, Nerf, for putting up with my crap for more than two decades. In 2020 I began reading the Rocket News. This year (2022) I got my first shot at Channel 933's Throwback lunch! It’s absolutely my privilege to host.
