Rise Against is quite fond of Colorado, they've recorded the majority of their albums at Blasting Room in Fort Collins, but this was my first chat with frontman Tim McIlrath. He told me about getting kicked out of Fort Collins when Covid hit back in March 2020 and by that time the album was nearly finished. He made it back to Chicago in time to quarantine and decided to go back to college while he was in lockdown. More from the man himself here:
