Architect I.M. Pei, designer of the 16th Street Mall has died

World renowned Architect, I.M. Pei has died at the age of 102. His notable work in Denver includes the 16th Street Mall, the master design for the Wells Fargo cash register building and a redesign of Denver's Courthouse Square. While Pei definitely left a mark on Denver, he is also known for his work on the John F. Kennedy Library and the Louvre Museum's glass-and-steel pyramid.
