Rivers Cuomo laid out the plan for Weezer's four new albums during an appearance on ABC's Good Morning America Friday.
Each album, all titled Seasons, will be released on the first day of the season it’s tied to. Cuomo says, “Spring is kind of like happy chill... And then we move through to dance rock, like a Strokes-style album for the fall, and then sad acoustic, Elliott Smith-style for winter.”
Also during the show Weezer performed "Hero" off their latest album,Van Weezer.
Weezer is part of the Hella Mega Stadium tour withGreen Day and Fall Out Boy, coming to Denver August 25th.
