The REAL Record Of The Year?

What does "Record Of The Year" mean to you? The Grammys are only voted on by people that work in the actual recording of audio. Radio, Record Labels, Humans... have NO say in what's nominated. That's why the nominations tend to make no sense. Someone recently asked me what my favorite albums of 2022 were. There was one that not only stood out, it made me question the rest. If you listen to Hellfire by Black Midi it will make all the other albums of the year excruciatingly dull by comparison. There's more creativity, and musical skill in this album than any other by FAR! That said, it's so complicated that it's probably unlistenable to most people. Still, I wish there was a better source of recognition for feats of musical brilliance like this. If Black Midi's album blows your mind like it did mine, pass it on! - @DJNerf
